PAZOSET-40 INJECTION contains Pantoprazole 40mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that effectively reduces the production of stomach acid. It is widely used for the treatment of acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. By blocking the enzyme in the stomach wall that produces acid, Pantoprazole helps in faster healing of acid-induced injuries in the stomach and esophagus.
Usage: This injection is used when oral administration of Pantoprazole is not possible, such as in hospitalized patients or those unable to swallow. It provides quick relief from symptoms like acidity, heartburn, and acid reflux.
